In a unexpected collaboration that breaks conventional expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Revealed

According to the authorized statement, "A strange encounter leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where hints of banned rituals and terrifying transformations resonate through the shadows." The narrative features a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a hidden cult.

The mission focuses on "bizarre tests and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Changes

The preview highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, presumably the hostage, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
